Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that Roma, who they'll play on Saturday, have a chance of winning the title this season.

Roma are five points away from leaders Juventus after eight games, but Allegri believes in the project being undertaken in the capital.

"Roma-Milan is a game that is part of the fight for the Scudetto," the former Cagliari” data-scaytid=”6″>Cagliari tactician noted on Friday.

"It is a game between two teams who will be battling for the title. You have to consider the game in this way.

"Roma are playing some really good football and they didn't deserve to lose at Genoa on Wednesday. It's a young team, one of quality and Luis Enrique has a good idea about how to play football."

Milan, though, are a side in form given that their recent run of wins has seen them close to within two points of the Old Lady.

"There are just two games to go before the international break and we both have to remain attached to the top part of the table," Allegri continued.

"It'll be hard to play against Roma and we'll have to put in a great performance on a technical and dynamic level.

"There are three points on offer and we have to take home a positive result after three straight wins. We want to get to the mini-break in the best condition possible."

Turning to team issues, Allegri admitted that he has decisions to make, while Philippe Mexes has been left out of the squad.

"Nesta will return in defence, but I have doubts. One is at left-back between Taye Taiwo and Gianluca Zambrotta, the other is in attack between Robinho and Antonio Cassano.

"Cassano is having the best season of his entire career. He just needs to continue working with tranquillity.

"In midfield, Mark Van Bommel could come into the side instead of Massimo Ambrosini.

"Mexes picked up a knock to his hand in training yesterday and suffered a micro-fracture. He'll have to rest for a bit."

Milan squad: Abbiati, Amelia, Roma, Abate, Bonera, Nesta, Taiwo, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Yepes, Ambrosini, Aquilani, Boateng, Emanuelson, Nocerino, Van Bommel, Cassano, El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic, Robinho.
