The Gazzetta dello Sport front page today declared Sneijder to Eastlands was a done deal, with the player agreeing a contract worth €6m per season.
It would be a surprise, as the Inter star has been heavily courted by Manchester United all summer.
However, Sky Sports sources claim there is no truth to this report that a deal has already been done.
Sneijder is currently in Beijing taking part in the Italian Super Cup clash with Milan.
The Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter will announce the move after this match.
