Claudio Ranieri lost his voice, so assistant manager Christian Damiano confirmed: “Roma are a danger in the Champions League draw.”
The Giallorossi only needed a point to qualify for the final 16 and got it with a 1-1 draw against Cluj.
“The important thing was to qualify, it was an important point and we got it,” said Damiano.
“Are we a danger in the Champions League draw? I think so. In two games anything is possible and we are a strong side.

“Our reaction against Basel and then with Bayern Munich was excellent, but the essential element today was the result.”
After throwing away a 2-0 lead against Chievo on Saturday, Roma again conceded a late equaliser in Romania.
“Perhaps we do fumble leads a bit too much, which is rather the opposite of last season. We need a little more concentration.”
Ranieri and Damiano were forced to reshuffle when Julio Sergio pulled out during the warm-up.
“He had a slight muscular problem, but Bogdan Lobont played a great game.”
