Treble winners Inter have the most players from Serie A on the list and are represented by Sneijder, Lucio, Julio Cesar, Maicon, Walter Samuel, Esteban Cambiasso, Javier Zanetti, Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito.

In all, Serie A is the third best represented League in the shortlist behind the Premier League and La Liga.
Meanwhile, Italy only has three players as possible candidates for the FIFA XI.
