Inter have no more COVID cases today, but it’s reported Antonio Conte will fight to stop players going on international duty anyway.
The squad has been ordered into total quarantine until midnight on Sunday, meaning the players are not even allowed to train.
It’s because there were five positive tests in the matchday squad between players and staff over a few days, meaning a rapidly-spreading outbreak was feared.
Tonight’s scheduled Serie A game with Sassuolo therefore could not go ahead and was postponed.

According to the latest reports, there are no positive tests today and worries are beginning to ease.
The local health authority will make its evaluation on Monday, which could include releasing players to go on international duty, albeit with some limitations on social distancing, such as eating and showering.
However, coach Conte is said to be pushing back against the idea, as he is eager to keep hold of his players rather than see them tired out on international duty.
That includes Italy players Nicolò Barella and Alessandro Bastoni.
