The Giallorossi will choose between Borja Mayoral and Edin Dzeko, with the Spaniard fresh from his brace in the Europa League against Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday.

However, Mayoral’s Serie A performances haven’t been as reassuring, because he hasn’t found the net in the league since a 3-1 win over Verona on January 31.

He fired blanks in each of his last seven Serie A matches.

So has Dzeko, whose last goal in Serie A was against Sampdoria on January 3.

Carles Perez is even worse, having scored just once in the Italian top flight, during a 5-2 victory over Benevento on October 18.

In fact, over the last seven Serie A rounds, the only Roma striker able to score a goal was Pedro against Udinese.

The others were scored by defender Gianluca Mancini, wing-backs Leonardo Spinazzola and Rick Karsdorp, with three for midfielder Jordan Veretout.

Throughout Serie A this season, the only Giallorossi player to have reached double figures for goals is penalty-taker Veretout.
