Dzeko had returned to group training yesterday and according to several reports in Italy he had a meeting with Fonseca after today’s training session at Trigoria.
SportMediaset claim the summit was ‘positive’ with the striker and the coach who clarified their positions.
Roma travel to Turin to face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday and Dzeko could be part of the squad travelling up north.
Despite that, the striker’s future remains uncertain and his Roma exit at the end of the season is still a likely scenario.
