Douglas Costa has only played 660 minutes so far in the 2020-21 campaign, but Milan were aware Bayern Munich and Juventus would not let him leave his current club in winter transfer window.

The Rossoneri were and are interested in signing the 30-year-old, but they opted to trust the players that are currently in the team.

Juventus and Bayern Munich discussed Douglas Costa’s future in January and no decision has yet been taken.

The Brazilian’s future at Bayern remains in doubt with the Bavarians who do not have an option to make the player’s move permanent.
