The Argentinean started in the Sevilla attack in their Copa del Rey clash against Almeria.
Gomez played 60 minutes and his side won 1-0 thanks to a Lucas Ocampos goal.

“It was s positive debut, I think it was not easy to play after spending a month and a half without official games,” Lopetegui said at a post-match press conference.
“He had been training with the Primavera team for a month and we played against an important opponent this evening,” the coach continued.
“He has showed he is feeling well during trainings and I think tonight’s game was interesting. He helped us while he was on the pitch.
“He can only improve and guide us with his experience.”
