Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam has been cleared to return to training, after a check-up today.
The Algerian international hasn’t played since November, after tearing his cruciate ligament against Manchester City.
Just as he was close to recovering from that injury he suffered a broken kneecap, and after surgery for that he had to go under the knife again in June.
Today he had a check-up with his surgeon, Pier Paolo Mariani, at the Villa Stuart Clinic, and he’s now ready to return to training.

“Great news from Villa Stuart,” a statement from the Partenopei begins.
“Professor Mariani has examined Faouzi Ghoulam and found him completely healed. He can now return to training with the group.”
