Reports in the Italian Press this afternoon have claimed that Juventus will try to persuade Juan Zuniga to not renew his contract at Napoli.

The Colombia international has been heavily linked with a move to the Bianconeri this summer, but with his contract set to expire at San Paolo in 2014, the Old Lady are trying to talk the wing-back into making a move next year.

The 27-year-old will be a free agent next year, and Sky Sport Italia have insisted that Antonio Conte’s side are happy to wait 12 months to get their man for free, rather than pay the €10m President Aurelio De Laurentiis is asking for.

Zuniga has been an integral part of the Napoli side since his arrival from Siena in 2009, playing nearly 150 games for the club.
