Parma are expected to axe Franco Colomba today with the likes of Roberto Donadoni, Gigi Del Neri and Gianfranco Zola up for the job.

The club was furious at last night’s 5-0 defeat to Inter and President Tommaso Ghirardi abandoned San Siro before the final whistle.

Director Pietro Leonardi also confirmed they were “very bitter” at the performance and would come together today to consider the situation.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Donadoni is in pole position for the Tardini bench, as he was fired in mid-August by Cagliari.

Another option is Del Neri, who is still under contract with Juventus after he was fired in the summer.

Parma fans will be hoping for a sensational return from Zola, who was a hero in the Tardini as a player from 1993 to ’96.

He won the UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and reached the Cup Winners’ Cup Final with the Ducali.

Zola has been out of work since West Ham United terminated his contract in May 2010.
