Gianfranco Zola is expected to become the new Watford Coach on Tuesday after Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo bought the club.

The Pozzo family completed its takeover this week and appointed ex-Brescia and West Ham director Gianluca Nani as technical director.

That Hammers partnership could be reunited, as former West Ham manager Zola is tipped to become the new tactician.

Italian media report that Zola will put pen to paper on Tuesday for a four-year contract with Watford.

Zola was the West Ham manager from 2008 to 2010.

“The goal is to repeat across the Channel, through experience gained in recent years, the successes of Udinese Calcio, which remains the model for inspiration and the heart of every project,” read a brief statement released by Udinese President Pozzo.
