The former Watford manager spoke to Tuttosport about Conte’s prospects in Serie A and beyond.
“Conte has everything it takes to become Juve’s Ferguson, but with my experience I’d advise him to test himself abroad. I think sooner or later he will go.

Zola countered Juve during Parma’s golden years and then moved to Chelsea, but reveals he could’ve worn the Bianconeri jersey.
“When I was at Chelsea the possibility of going to the Bianconeri was floated, but nothing came from it. Therefore, having finished my Premier League experience, I decided to spend my final years at Cagliari.”

“Football is unpredictable, but stopping Juventus at the moment, even if just for one game, is an arduous task.
“It’s also a terrible shame that only 5,000 fans are allowed into the Stadio Sant’Elia. This is not the way to revive people’s enthusiasm for the sport. At least Cagliari are by now accustomed to playing in these conditions.”
The Sant’Elia is undergoing restructuring work and local authorities have set a safety limit of 5,000 in the stands.
