Dino Zoff discusses “exceptional” Juventus, and insists Lazio will be stronger next season.
The Bianconeri wrapped up a fifth Scudetto in a row this week, and their legendary former goalkeeper was impressed by their run of 24 wins in 25 games.
“Juventus? They’ve done something exceptional,” Zoff said on Radiosei.
“From the players to the club, through the Coach and everyone involved. The League this season was certainly unusual, in my day results like that didn’t occur.

“Napoli, Roma and Inter put together long winning runs, but not like Juventus.”
Zoff was Coach of Lazio on three separate occasions, and discussed the Biancocelesti’s stuttering season.
“The elimination from the Champions League [in the preliminary round] was a major blow. It didn’t create an enthusiastic atmosphere.
“They now need a recruitment drive, to give incentive to the fans too.
“[President Claudio] Lotito put together a good team this year though, so I don’t think they need a revolution unless there are players who want to leave.
“With some signings they can fight for the top positions next year.
“Simone Inzaghi? He started well, and I don’t think Saturday’s defeat was his fault. I don’t know him as a Coach, but I think he’s ready for Serie A.
“Personally I have no relationship with President Lotito, I spoke to him when he arrived but he didn’t have any real interest in me.
“Everyone does what he thinks is right.”
