The Swede, who has returned to the national team, has contributed 15 goals in as many League games this term.
He signed a one-year deal with the Diavolo last summer and hopes to renew for a further season.

“I’m optimistic about the extension,” he said at a press conference. “The teammates are like my children.
“This is the atmosphere we have created and why we are doing well. I want to continue at Milan and improve, the project is exciting.”
