“The captain, Hamsik, is untouchable so Allan and I battle for the other role. I’m doing my best to play, then it’s up to [Coach Maurizio] Sarri to manage our playing time.

“The Coach often tells me that he’s happy with my performances.

“The club did a lot in the summer, and the Coach is gradually introducing us to the team even though a lot of us would like to play now.

“I’m glad I chose this team, because it enhances my qualities and I can help my teammates, providing assists for them.

“Now I’m at a top club and I’m training with the stars of European football.

“I feel good in the role I’m occupying now, I can express myself offensively, but I need to work on what I do without the ball.

“Sarri is keen for everyone to know what to do in both phases of play.”
