Reports from France suggest that Zinedine Zidane is ready to continue his coaching career and that his priority is to head to Juventus.

The 50-year-old French coach quickly established himself as one of the best coaches in European football, winning three Champions League titles at the helm of Real Madrid across three consecutive seasons.

In May 2018, Zidane left Real Madrid but returned less than a year later, and he went on to pick up a La Liga title and a Copa del Rey before departing again in June 2021. Since then, he has remained out of work, being regularly linked to jobs with teams like France and Paris Saint-Germain.

As reported by RMC Sport, Zidane is now looking for a new head coaching role with a team committed to a long-term project. His priority is Juventus, and he’s not concerned about missing out on European football in the early stages of this project.

The roadblock stopping the Frenchman’s move to Turin is Massimiliano Allegri, who is contracted to the Bianconeri until 2025 with a salary of €7m net per season. Sacking the Italian could cost Juventus around €20m, a painful blow to the club.
