Zhang, the son of the chairman, spoke at the Nerazzurri club Christmas dinner last night.
“It is truly a great honour for me to be here with you, being part of Inter and this family,” said Zhang.

“We always say that we are brothers of the world and I think that by coming together, we represent all the people in the world who support and help Inter.
“I know you are excited at seeing our players, but please don’t give them too much wine or alcohol. We’ve got another two games to play before Christmas and want to go into the winter break in good shape.
“Inter is different now, because Suning is one of the biggest companies in the world, not to mention the biggest media company in China.
“Our only objective when investing in Inter is to make it the best club in the world. I promise that in future we will make history together: it’s just a matter of time.”
