“There is optimism in the city because they know that over the last 10 rounds, Crotone have been the 11th best team in Serie A. In the second half of the season, we’re technically in 13th place,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“Lazio are a great side, as proved by their position in the top four, thanks to a strong mentality and an excellent Coach. We must play very well to get a result tomorrow.

“The atmosphere is important, but we could have the whole city in the stands, it means nothing if the players don’t move. The stadium is packed because of our results and the way we built enthusiasm.

“We’re here with the opportunity to secure safety with a round to spare and none of you expected that to happen. The game with Chievo didn’t go the way we wanted, but we have another chance and we want to take it.

“This side absolutely deserves to stay in Serie A. I’ve never liked easy challenges, so I am happy to fight for points against Lazio and I can assure you it’ll be a problem for them to face us at the Stadio Scida.”
