Sky Sport Italia note the deal could be a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season, therefore spreading out the cost over two years.
It’s believed the total cost, including bonuses, would come to around €28m.
Zaza could fly out to London tomorrow evening or on Friday morning for a medical.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic said Zaza was “a top player” and Sky Sport Italia claim the pair spoke on the phone today.
