Gazzetta writes that the Spaniards have given a 48 hour ultimatum on Fiorentina’s decision, but the Viola want to secure a buy-back clause before closing a deal.

Former Lazio and Inter forward Zarate is set to replace Rossi in Florence, with La Nazione reporting today that the Argentine is willing to lower his wages in order to make the move.

The newspaper believes an agreement has already been reached between the two clubs for an outright transfer, with the approval of the Zarate’s representatives expected to arrive today.
