It has been a chaotic last few days for the Nerazzurri, as Honorary President Moratti resigned along with directors AngeloMario Moratti, Rinaldo Ghelfi and Alberto Manzonetto.
This was followed by rumours Zanetti would also quit in solidarity from his position as Vice-President.
“I always hope to make myself useful, putting myself at the disposal for the good of this club,” Zanetti told Sport Mediaset.
“The most important thing is for us to all think of what is best for this marvellous jersey, which is so glorious and historic. It must always be respected. We must stay united so that Inter can remain the club that all the fans want.
“Moratti will always remain a very important person for Inter. I admire him so much and he’s like a father to me. He will always be a part of Inter.”
