Javier Zanetti admits Inter “must wait until June 28 to know if we have to sell a big player,” considering Yaya Toure and Antonio Candreva.

The Nerazzurri have just been taken over by Chinese group Suning, who bought 68.55 per cent of the club stock, but are still limited by Financial Fair Play parameters.

“We are working, there will be a meeting on June 28 and from there we’ll be told what will happen going forward,” Vice-President Zanetti explained to FCInterNews.it.

“Will we have to sell a big player? We’ll see. On June 28 we’ll understand what kind of a market strategy we’ll have. There is Financial Fair Play to respect, but the intention of everyone has to be building a great team.”

Ever Banega has already promised his signature as a free agent from Sevilla, but Lazio star Candreva costs €25m and Manchester City don’t seem ready to release Yaya Toure.

“Candreva is a great player, but first we have to think of the transfer strategy we will have and only then move forward.

“Yaya Toure? We know that we can only sign one non-EU player. Toure has a lot of character, but there are many elements like him around. We’ll see what happens.”
