Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti says the Europa League draw “went well” after drawing Rapid Vienna but “we know there are no easy games”.

The Nerazzurri went out of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw with PSV at San Siro, so will drop down to the Europa League at the Last 32 stage.

The draw was held in Nyon today, with the Beneamata drawn against Austrian side Rapid Vienna.

“It went well, but we know there are no easy games,” Zanetti told Sky.

“We’ll need to see where we are in February, but we want to be protagonists. The proximity is beneficial for us, when it’s a close trip on a Thursday evening it’s simpler.

“We’re disappointed about the Champions League, but we need to focus on the Europa League now, it’s a prestigious competition.

“It’s full of teams who are difficult to face, and winning would give prestige to the club. We’ll face it in the best way and hope to get to the end.

“We can be protagonists, winning a trophy would be important.”
