Fabrizio Miccoli could leave Palermo at the end of the season, says chief Maurizio Zamparini.

Zamparini yesterday criticised the 33-year-old for his performances this campaign and his future is in doubt.

“He won’t necessarily stay,” Zamparini told the Giornale di Sicilia. “He could leave. He could receive offers that we are unable to match.

“We’ll have to wait and see what happens.”

Miccoli’s contract at the Stadio Barbera is set to expire in June.
