The Rosanero owner stepped down as President in February, as a takeover had been agreed with a consortium led by Paul Baccaglini.

However, the deal ultimately collapsed, leaving the 76-year-old in charge of the club.

“I’ll go to Palermo again soon, because three groups, all foreign, are interested in buying the club,” Zamparini told Mediagol.

“Our lawyers are working and we’ve commissioned the best studies in Europe and America to follow this closely.

“I hope this situation will be resolved soon.”
