Maurizio Zamparini complains about the referee in Palermo’s defeat to Lazio and rejects talk of Beppe Iachini being at risk.

The Rosanero fell to a 4-0 home loss to the Aquile on Monday evening, but for the club’s President, it does not reflect the balance of play.

“It is a defeat that has gone wrong, but I have to say that the refereeing was indecent,” Zamparini has told Tuttomercatoweb today.

“My Coach told me that there were two penalties not awarded. If the first half had ended with us in front that would have been fair.

“I do not like to complain, I’m always on about not going talking about referees, but I do not like certain things.”

It was put to the trigger-happy Zamparini that Beppe Iachini’s position as Coach was increasingly at risk.

“Absolutely not. We are losing games, sometimes poorly, as it happened to Inter against Cagliari, but I do not think we are talking about Mazzarri being at risk.”
