Palermo have announced that Israeli playmaker Eran Zahavi has joined Maccabi Tel Aviv on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 25-year-old joined the Rosanero in 2011 from Hapoel Tel Aviv and has played 26 games for the Sicilian side, scoring two goals.
But the club have revealed that the midfielder has gone back to his home country, this time signing for arch-rivals Maccabi.
