Basel boss Murat Yakin has refused to comment on rumours that he will take over at Lazio at the end of the season.
Reports in the Italian Press have claimed that the young tactician will replace Vladimir Petkovic at Stadio Olimpico when he leaves for the Swiss national team in the summer.
But Yakin has insisted that he will not comment ‘out of respect’.
“I have heard a few things,” he told srf.ch. “But I do not want to comment out of respect for Basel.
“They are my club and I want to do well with them.”
