It is reported that English Championship side Wolves are poised to make an audacious summer move for Milan’s Andre Silva.

The Portuguese forward only joined the Rossoneri eight months ago but he has scored just one goal in 17 Serie A appearances this season.

Although he has fared better in the Europa League, netting eight times in 14 matches, the 22-year-old finds himself behind Patrick Cutrone in Gennaro Gattuso’s packing order.

Although he has fared better in the Europa League, netting eight times in 14 matches, the 22-year-old finds himself behind Patrick Cutrone in Gennaro Gattuso’s packing order.

And with Wolves highly likely to secure promotion to the Premier League in the coming weeks, the Daily Mirror claims they want to bring in Silva to bolster their front line options for next season.

Milan’s number nine, who cost them £34m just last summer, has previously played under Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo while the duo were at Porto.

However, the English daily claims the midlands side will face stiff competition for Silva’s signature.

Arsenal, Monaco and Valencia are all thought to be interested in signing the player, who has a contract at the San Siro until 2022.
