Brazil coach Tite seems to have found the right way to use Vinicius Junior, especially after asking Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti for advice.
The Brazilian superstar has scored one goal in three games at the World Cup, adding 10 in 21 appearances across all competitions with Real Madrid this term.
The 22-year-old has thrived under Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti and bagged the winner in the Champions League Final against Liverpool in 2021-22.
Tite, who has led Brazil to the World Cup quarter-finals in Qatar, spoke about his star with Ancelotti last season, as revealed by the Brazilian coach in an interview with Marca this past April.
“It was a fruitful and transparent chat between two coaches who want the best from him. We spoke about the tactical solutions that can give him freedom and add creativity in one vs. one,” said Tite.
The Real Madrid star has scored one goal at the World Cup but has been involved in five of Brazil’s seven goals so far.
Brazil, Roma and Milan legend Cafu discussed Ancelotti’s importance in Vinicius’ evolution in an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport saying that the Italian coach has an ‘incredible’ ability to develop young players.
