The newspaper adds that while Olympique Marseille remain keen on the Nice and Italy hitman, he finds a return to the Premier League ‘alluring’.
Balotelli won the Premier League with Manchester City seven years ago but was branded a Liverpool flop during the 2014-15 campaign.
The 28-year-old has also been linked with replacing Kevin-Prince Boateng at Sassuolo.
