Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini is at the centre of a €25m bidding war between West Ham, Wolfsburg and Stoke City.

According to the latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Hammers have already made a proposal worth €23m plus bonuses.

That would take them to the asking price, but it remains to be seen whether the player will accept this destination.

The former Sampdoria striker scored four goals in six Europa League games this season, but only five in 23 Serie A appearances.

He was regularly used as a substitute while Gonzalo Higuain took the spotlight and became increasingly frustrated at the situation.

It was already rumoured last week that Gabbiadini had turned down an offer from Stoke City.

Wolfsburg had been interested in January and are ready to revive that proposal over the summer.
