However, the principality side could face competition for his signature, with Sky reporting that the Hammers have also made contact with the striker.
It’s thought Destro is keen to move to the Premier League, and indeed would prefer that option to moving to the French league.
However, Monaco are still thought to be in pole position, as Sky reports that Roma have agreed a transfer fee with Les Rouges et Blancs.
Destro spent the second half of last season on loan at Milan, but the Rossoneri decided not to take up the option of signing him outright.
