It was believed yesterday evening that the Giallorossi and the Hammers were ‘exchanging documents’ over an agreed initial loan through to the summer, whilst today could see signatures arrive to finalise terms.

Depending on progress today, Borriello could fly out today or tomorrow to undergo medical checks with West Ham, who are also seen by Sky Sports as having agreed to take on the striker’s full wages until the end of June.

Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino is also expected to see discussions over a possible move to West Ham continue on Friday.

Speculation yesterday was that his agent was in the English capital to negotiate terms of an initial six-month loan.
