Reports are spreading that West Ham are discussing a January bid for Inter striker Ishak Belfodil.

The Algerian international has requested a move in order to have more regular playing time ahead of his country’s World Cup expedition.

We had already noted Inter director Piero Ausilio was in London for talks with the Hammers over Belfodil back on December 28.

These reports have now spread to The Times, who confirm the 21-year-old is a target for Sam Allardyce.

Belfodil only joined the Nerazzurri from Parma over the summer, but has struggled to make an impact and could join West Ham either on loan or in a permanent move.
