“I can confirm their interest,” sporting director Daniele Delli Carri told Tuttosport. “They already asked us for him during the January transfer session when they offered Gianluca Sansone in return.
“At that moment of the season the boy was too important for us so we decided to reject that approach. Things are different now and the operation could be done.”
Weiss is a 23-year-old Slovakian international who has a past with Manchester City, Bolton, Rangers and Espanyol.
The midfielder has scored four goals in 22 League games this term.
