Ezequiel Schelotto sees no reason why his Atalanta side can't defeat Inter in Serie A on Wednesday evening.

"It can happen," the Argentine-born wide midfielder told Tutto Atalanta on Monday afternoon. "All games are winnable.

"This is a very strange season where there is a lot of balance in the League and a lot of unpredictability."

Atalanta's campaign illustrates as much. They have eight points, one more than Inter, but they would have actually been on 14 if it wasn't for their six-point penalty.

"At the start of the season our aim was to just eliminate our handicap as soon as possible," he added.

"Now that has happened we have set ourselves other objectives – the first of them being to confirm our Serie A status."

Although the Bergamo boys have had a better start to the season than the San Siro giants, the former Italian Under-21 international respects the threat of the Beneamata.

"Every player in the Inter squad is capable of changing the outcome of a game," added the former Cesena and Catania man.

"We have to be very aware as they attack on the left and the right.

"Wesley Sneijder can change the game in an instant, while Giampaolo Pazzini has shown that he can do you harm in the penalty area."
