Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez were finally reunited this week at the pre-season training camp, giving Inter a dangerous duo up front again.
The pair worked incredibly well together under coach Antonio Conte in his 3-5-2 system, the same formation used by Simone Inzaghi, and they’ll be hoping to repeat the feat they achieved together in the 2020-21 season, when they guided the Nerazzurri to their first Scudetto in a decade.
Affectionately known as Lu-La, the Inter pair are now working to re-find the chemistry they built in recent years.
