Samuel Umtiti landed in Italy this evening ahead of his loan move from Barcelona to Lecce.
The 28-year-old French defender has joined the Puglian outfit on a season-long dry loan deal, meaning he’ll return to Catalonia at the end of this season, with no permanence clause attached to the move.
Umtiti’s career has been derailed by injuries over the last few years and he’ll be looking to re-find some form with Lecce and prove the quality of his physical fitness once again.
