The 21-year-old is one of the hottest properties on the transfer market after his 12 Serie A goals at Siena this term saw him included in Italy’s 32-man squad for Euro 2012.

“The first step is to sort out his co-ownership situation with Genoa and Siena,” representative Renzo Contratto told Radio Mana Mana.

“Then everything will start after that seeing as all of the big clubs in Italy are chasing him. Mattia is keen to understand his future seeing as he won’t be at Genoa or Siena next season.”

Reports over the last 24 hours are suggesting that a return to former club Inter is a possibility and the Rossoblu have revealed there is a chance that will happen.

“We’ll see about Destro,” Rossoblu sporting director Stefano Capozucca told Radio Mana Mana in an earlier interview.

“There is a verbal agreement between Genoa President Enrico Preziosi and Inter chief Massimo Moratti that the Nerazzurri will have the priority if a sale occurs.”
