The Daily Express had suggested the 25-year-old Arsenal forward could make a loan switch to Serie A, where he’d get to play alongside Micah Richards.
“Theo is of interest to many clubs and that probably includes Fiorentina,” agent Colin Gordon told Firenzeviola.it.
“Besides, I also have a very good rapport with the Viola, as I respect and admire their directors. Eduardo Macia is a great person and also a great transfer operator, but I don’t think there’s much chance of seeing Walcott in Florence.
“I don’t think Fiorentina have the money to buy him. I think negotiations would be almost impossible and the Viola never contacted me to ask for Theo.”
On the other hand, the Daily Star claims Fiorentina are turning their attention back towards Liverpool benchwarmer Fabio Borini.
Also tracked by Inter, Borini would get more regular playing time in Tuscany thanks to an injury crisis that has ruled out Giuseppe Rossi and Federico Bernardeschi for several months.
