Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini is ready to hand Juventus Mirko Vucinic in return for Claudio Marchisio.

The Montenegro striker has made it clear that he wants to leave the Stadio Olimpico outfit this summer.

The capital club are prepared to let him go, but only at the right price.

It's understood that Roma's €17m valuation is considered as too steep by the Old Lady, who could look to lower that fee by inserting one of their players in the deal.

Sabatini, though, has made it clear that he would only accept one player in exchange – Italy international Marchisio.

"With regards to this hypothetical operation with Juventus, I have no problem in saying that Marchisio is the only player in their squad who I would sign," he stated.

Marchisio only recently penned a new contract in Turin until the summer of 2016, but he's not assured of first team football in 2011-12.

It's understood that Antonio Conte's 4-4-2 will have new boys Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal in central midfield.
