Sime Vrasljko’s agent confirms an Atletico Madrid move is imminent, but says his client didn’t snub Napoli.
The Sassuolo full-back has agreed a deal with the Spanish side, thought it has not yet been made official, with reports he refused to consider a move to the Partenopei.
“Soon Vrsaljko’s move to Atletico will be official,” Giuseppe Riso said on Radio Crc.

“Soon Vrsaljko’s move to Atletico will be official,” Giuseppe Riso said on Radio Crc.
“Napoli tried to take him, and I want to clarify one thing: Sime didn’t reject Napoli. The Azzurri made an important offer in January and in this transfer window, but it’s hard to say no to Atletico right now.
“After a long deliberation, Sime chose the Atletico project. It wasn’t about money, the fact that Atletico are more ready in Europe swung the lad’s decision.”
