Dusan Vlahovic has revealed that he is willing to “sacrifice” himself for coach Beppe Iachini, who has been important to help his development at Fiorentina.

The Serbian has claimed a spot in the starting line-up of late and has revelled under the faith of his new coach.

After the winter break, the 20-year-old has scored three goals and has appeared seven times for the Viola.

And the youngster is hoping to give back to his coach by taking on board all the “advice” Iachini gives him on the training ground.

“He is a great coach, a master,” Vlahovic told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “When you have a coach like that, it’s normal to give your all on the pitch.

“You go on one more run and fight for one extra ball, sacrifice yourself throughout the match.

“Thanks to Iachini, I’m learning a lot. He is the right coach for a young player. He doesn’t tell you that you are a phenomenon and I accept all the advice and criticism I get from him.”
