Palermo director general Giorgio Perinetti has hinted that Emiliano Viviano may not end up with Fiorentina this summer.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the Rosanero in January on a co-ownership deal with Inter, has been widely expected since the close of the 2011-12 season to leave the Sicilians.

Following on from President Maurizio Zamparini’s assertion that Fiorentina look the most likely destination, colleague Perinetti has suggested that their lack of interest so far could see other clubs linked with the ‘keeper take an advantage.
“Viviano has sustained interest in Fiorentina, but it was us who focused heavily to get him in January,” reflected the dg to Radio Blu on Friday.
“We know that he can go and play elsewhere and therefore also to La Viola, but nothing is definite.
“Emiliano is a great goalkeeper, I am not surprised that he has interest from clubs abroad, I hope that at the conclusion of his transfer everyone can find satisfaction.”
Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly also tracking the 26-year-old, who was born in Florence and spent most of his youth career with La Viola.
