Fiorentina defender Vitor Hugo is reportedly unhappy about losing his starting spot since new Coach Vincenzo Montella’s arrival and is ready to move on.

According to calcionews24.com, the 27-year-old is concerned about his lack of playing time, as he has yet to feature under Montella in the four games since the Coach replaced Stefano Pioli.

The Brazilian went from being first choice under Pioli to losing his spot to first Federico Ceccherini, then Vincent Laurini – who was moved from right-back into the centre of defence.

Hugo made 29 appearances in total for La Viola this season before the managerial change.

He remains one of the highest wage earners at the club with a contract that runs down in 2021, so any potential deal would have to be around the €8m mark, as that is what the Tuscans paid for him in 2017.
