It is reported that Liverpool have told Fiorentina they will have to pay £8m to sign striker Fabio Borini.

The out-of-favour Reds forward is not part of manager Brendan Rodgers’ plans for the new season and has been heavily linked with a move back to Italy this summer.

This afternoon, Tuttomercatoweb.com claim that the Anfield club have set an asking price of £8m for the 24-year-old. However, they may be forced to lower this in order for the Viola to table an official bid.
