Fiorentina have reportedly surpassed Lazio in the race for Genk midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The 20-year-old had been in advanced negotiations with Lazio, but today director of sport Igli Tare confirmed there is “no deal.”
According to Mediaset Sport Premium, Fiorentina have suddenly leapfrogged in front of them.
Genk accepted an offer worth €10m for the Serbia Under-21 international.
He only moved to Belgium in July 2014 from Vojvodina.
